Hawzah News Agency- The event aims to recognise the pioneering contributions of Omani women in serving the Holy Quran, honouring their prominent role in society, and emphasising the association’s continued focus on promoting women’s participation in Quranic, educational and community activities.
The second season of Women’s Quranic Day included four competitive and educational sections: recitation of the entire Quran, 15 parts, 10 parts, and 5 parts, catering to participants of varying proficiency and experience levels. This format not only encouraged engagement at all levels but also highlighted the dedication, discipline, and deep respect participants hold for the Holy Quran.
The event reflects the Omani Society for the Care of the Holy Quran’s ongoing efforts to empower women in religious education, foster community involvement, and preserve the rich tradition of Quranic memorisation and recitation.
Through initiatives like Women’s Quranic Day, the association continues to strengthen the cultural and spiritual fabric of Oman while providing a platform for women to excel in Quranic sciences and inspire future generations.
